Make-Over Monday

Alright readers, I don't know about you, but I need this. I need a reminder for myself (like this) to help me get organized. Weekly I am going to post a mission, where we will commitment to get organized. It will be something different each week, if you have something that needs attention and you have been putting it off- let me know. You do not have to do it specifically on this day, but commit to having it done by the following mission - and leave a comment when your project is done, like checking it off your list. This will give you a deadline to get something done! They may seem like silly things, but you will be surprised how much they help you feel organized.
Week: 3 Mortgage Payment
Paying one additional mortgage payment each year, whether in a lump sum or monthly increments, can lower a 30-year loan down to 18 years. If you pay more than one extra payment, the number of years will decrease even more. Since this additional payment will be applied only to the principal and not the interest, you end up saving thousands and thousands of dollars once the home is paid off.
