Make-Over Mondays

Alright mommies, I don't know about you, but I need this. I need a reminder for myself (like this) to help me get organized.Bi-Weekly I am going to post a mission, where we will commitment to get organized. It will be something different each week, if you have something that needs attention and you have been putting it off- let me know. You do not have to do it specifically on this day, but commit to having it done by the following mission - and leave a comment when your project is done, like checking it off your list. This will give you a deadline to get something done! They may seem like silly things, but you will be surprised how much they help you feel organized.

Mission for Week 4: STRIP!
Get your mind out of the gutter! I meant strip the beds! Take off the comforter, sheets, mattress pads, dust ruffle, flip the mattresses if needed, give the bed a little dust over and put it back together. Clean all of the bedding and put it back on the beds while its still warm out of the dryer. This will prevent it from getting wrinkled before it makes it's way back to your bed. Throw a dryer sheet or two inside of the pillow case when you put the pillows back in, this will give you that continued right out of the dryer smell. Every diva deserves a beautiful, clean and comfortable bed for her beauty rest!

Week: 3 Mortgage Payment
Paying one additional mortgage payment each year, whether in a lump sum or monthly increments, can lower a 30-year loan down to 18 years. If you pay more than one extra payment, the number of years will decrease even more. Since this additional payment will be applied only to the principal and not the interest, you end up saving thousands and thousands of dollars once the home is paid off.

Week 2 Mission:What Matters To You
Make a list of the 10 most important things in your life. Next to each item, rank them in order of importance using numbers 1 through 10. The purpose of this exercise is to help you see the things you consider the most and least important and to provide you with a visual of why you need to save. Some examples of things that a person might put on their list include new home, car, special trip, artwork, starting a business, or pay off debts.
